Press Release Body: The American Center for Conflict Resolution Institute announces a new strategy of providing Mediation Training Programs. The first online career college to offer such programs, ACCRI has evolved from a local training and mediation company to a thriving distance learning career college with a transnational scope, offering comprehensive distance learning mediation and paralegal programs.
The Professional Mediation Certification Course gives one the freedom to obtain knowledge and expertise via correspondence as opposed to courses that are restricted to classrooms and covers the mediation process from the 'outside in', just the way a mediator sees it. The course has 16 comprehensive lessons that tackle subjects like Conflict Resolution Overview, The Formal Mediation Process, Legal Considerations in Mediation, Communication & Information Gathering and Conflict Management Skills and so on. In a departure from the usual do-it-yourself on line school, each participant of the Mediation Training Program gets assigned an instructor who works closely with him to ensure successful completion of the program.
ACCRI was founded in October of 1998 by Tanya L. Dominick-Haggins who brought her own unique talent of legal and business acumen along with some twenty years experience of various specialties to the organization. Subsequently what started out as a local classroom training outfit, turned into a huge educational enterprise that has a worldwide student base and provides quality, affordable tutoring in Conflict Resolution and Mediation Training. ACCRI has also developed a new paralegal training program which enjoys the same success across the nation
Founder President of ACCRI, Tanya L. Dominick-Haggins explains, "The wild success of the "in person" courses inspired us to create self-paced, distance learning, instructor supervised courses like The Professional Mediation Certificate Program and the Paralegal Diploma Program.'
